1/2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Baking Powder
2 tbsp. Sugar (if doubling recipe use 6 tbsp. of Sugar)
1 c. Corn Meal
1 Egg (beaten)
1 c. Sour Milk
¼ c. melted Shortening

Directions:

Combine in a mixing bowl. Bake 400º for 20 minutes.

Note: To sour milk add 3 tbsp. vinegar to 1 c. milk.
