1 C shortening
1 C brown sugar
1 C white sugar
2 eggs
2 C flour
1/2 t salt
1 t soda
1 t baking powder
1 C coconut
1 C chopped gumdrops or 2 C chopped candy orange slices
2 C oats
1 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
350 10 minutes

Cream sugars and shortening.
Add eggs.
Add Vanilla
Sift together powders.
MIx all.
Stir in coconut, gumdrops and oats.

make as drop cookies, 1" balls, or refrigerator cookies.
bake on greased cookie sheet.
