Directions:
Directions:
Bake @ 350' for about 10 min.
Beat together the butter, sugars, vanilla and egg.

Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt, stir in oatmeal and rice krispies.
Stir well together. I do in a separate bowl from wet.
Stir well and add chocolate chips and pecans.

I now refrigerate overnight and bake whenever.
They say it improves the flavour.

Drop by large tablespoon on parchment sheet and flatten slightly.
Cool on cooling tray.

GF Version: Use 1 generious cup gluten free flour that includes Zantange Gum or add a good 1/2 tsp. Check oatmeal and rice krispies to ensure that they are GF if someone is very sensitive.

Personal Notes:
I have made the GF version and they were good.
I used King Arthur Flour but any GF would work as so many other ingredients.
Cup for Cup is also a good choice.
