"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
2 cups canola oil
2 cups brown sugar- not packed
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
2-3 t vanilla extract
2 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
¼ cup pancake syrup (any brand)
5 ½ cups flour
2- 12 oz bags of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together canola oil, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Then add eggs, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder and pancake syrup. Mix until smooth and creamy. Then mix in flour and chocolate chips. Add flour ¼ to ½ cup at a time if dough seems to be sticky. Will be hard to stir but you should be able to roll a ball. If they don’t spread out in the over when baking, roll in a ball then smash down a little.
Bake at 350° for 8 ½- 9 minutes.
Should make 5 dozen but that depends on how big or small you roll the balls.
