Sauce:

2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1 2/3 c water
1/3 c cocoa



Batter:

2 tbsp butter
1/3 c cocoa
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c nuts and coconut (opt)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients for sauce over low heat in 8x10" pan and stir until ingredients are combined.

Melt butter and add cocoa, sugar, milk and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Put large spoonfuls of batter on top of sauce. Bake in 350 oven 40-45 min. Serve warm.
