From Grandma Gladys (Burner) Koester - Conrad


Ingredients:

5 cups Cut Corn
1 Cup Water
3 TBS Butter
2 TBS Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut corn off cob and put in large bowl.
Clean, cut raw corn off cob.
boil 1 cup of Water with butter and Sugar until resolved.
add 5 cups of raw corn.
Boil 3 min
put into bowl and let cool
Once cooled put into freezer bags (beside to have no air in bag) then put into freezer.

This recipe is one of Grandma's (Gladys) we had spent many of summers picking dozens of corn and doubling this recipe and freezing the corn for Winter. Grandma always said to freeze the same day you pick to keep the corns sweetness. Its a true tested recipe that we have eaten for years.
