3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar (Splenda brown sugar is healthier)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (Splenda)
8 ozs of vanilla yogurt
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
2 T. olive oil
2 T. skim milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
3 cups old-fashioned oats (if you can get steel-cut oats, they are heart healthier)
1 cup diced mixed fruit
------options: toasted walnuts, almonds, coconut, and any dried fruits

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine sugars, yogurt, egg whites, oil, milk and vanilla; mix well. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add to yogurt mixture; mix well, stir in oats and fruit (and other options of your choice).

Spead dough onto bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake 30 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely on wire rack. Lift from pan, cut into bars. Store tightly covered.
