1 cup sifted flour
3/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 tbsp cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp butter
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup pecans (opt)
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Add rest of ingredients. Beat 2 minutes, pour in greased pan.

Mix together 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Sprinkle over batter. Pour 1 cup hot water over cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
