1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine
1/4 Cup Shortening
3/4 Cup Sugar
4 Eggs
3 Cups Flour
5 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoon Anisette Flavoring
If desire can substitute to Vanilla or Lemon

GLAZE
2 Cups Confectionery Sugar
2 to 4 Tablespoons Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and shortening, add sugar mix well. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition, mix in flavoring. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to cream mixture gradually. If dough is too sticky to roll in hand add more flour until firm , but should still be soft. These cookies will really puff up with all the baking powder that is in the recipe. Place on cookie sheet , do not spray or grease sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes just till bottom is light brown. Cool completely. Than glaze.

GLAZE: Mix confectionery sugar and milk , making sure to keep it on the thicker side. Dip top of cookie in glaze then put on wire wrack to dry. If desire sprinkle Jimmie’s on top.
