2 cups margarine, softened
2 cups sugar
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 cups flour
5 cups quick oatmeal
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 package (12 oz) semi-sweet choc. chips
1 package (10 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1 bar 8oz milk chocolate grated
3 cups chopped pecans

Thoroughly cream margarine, sugars and vanilla in a very large bowl.
Add eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Combine oats, flour baking powder, soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolates and nuts. Measure scant ¼ cup dough and shape into balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 375º oven 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

I like to freeze the balls of dough before baking. Put the balls on a baking sheet and freeze. when hard, scrape off into a zip bag. When ready to bake, place frozen dough on cookie sheet. Use the bottom of a glass to press slightly down. Bake as directed.
Warm cookies are always a hit.
