3 cups cooked chicken chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup slivered almonds
6 oz of French's fried onions

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and coat a 9x13 pan or casserole dish with cooking spray
In a large bowl stir all (except the onion rings) together and pour into casserole.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Sprinkle onion rings and cook another 5 minutes.
Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.

Grandma sometimes called this "company casserole." She would boil up a whole chicken, use part of the chicken for this recipe then the next day make chicken and dumplings or some other dish with the leftovers. No leftover was ever thrown away. Not even the necks or gizzards which Grandpa would eat!
