1 c. Butter
2 c. Brown Sugar
2 Eggs Unbeaten
3 ½ c. Flour
½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Vanilla
Optional: ½ c. nuts or candied cherries.
Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl. In another bowl beat butter, sugar and eggs (one egg at a time) till well combined. Add vanilla and flour mixture and mix till combined.
Chill mixture thoroughly. Form into a roll and cut very thin slices ⅛". Place on a cookie sheet and bake in a preheated oven 350º to 375º for 8 min.
