Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 cups of flour
1 soften stick of butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/4 cup cold water
2 egg yolks
3 additional sticks of softened butter

Filling
6 tablespoons flour
1 cup whole milk
1¼ cup Crisco
2 cups powdered sugar
6 tablespoons marshmallow cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix like Pie dough. The hook on the KitchenAid mixer works fine.
Add 3 cups flour, 1 stick of butter, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 1/4 cup cold water, 2 egg yolks.
Mix well refrigerate one hour.
Dough is quite sticky at first roll out.
On a well floured surface, roll out the dough to ¼ inch thick.
Spread with evenly with one stick of softened butter. (Use the entire stick)
Fold dough in half and then in half again and then in half again until you have a small square.

Refrigerate 1 hour and repeat the entire process until all 3 sticks of butter are used. Refrigerate overnight. Take out small amounts at a time, I just make a thick slice and roll it out. Cut into about 5” x 1“ strips. Wrap each strip around clothespin
bake 375° until light brown about 20 minutes.

Filling:
Place 6 tablespoons of flour and 1 cup of milk in a sauce pan.Cook, stirring constantly until very thick. Cool completely.
If not completely cool the filling will be thin.
While it’s cooling, I cover the top with some saran wrap. Otherwise it forms a skin which is very lumpy in the filling.
In a mixing bowl add 2 cups of powdered sugar with 1 cup of Crisco add your cold mixture and 6 tablespoons of marshmallow cream.
Remove clothespin.
Fill each cookie.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Usually one jar of marshmallow cream is 6 heaping spoonfuls of marshmallow.
