Start by getting a large bowl out to mix the ingredients in. Wash your celery and dice the stalks into small pieces. Put into the bowl. Next cut a medium yellow onion in half and peel off skin. Dice 1/2 into small pieces. Add to the bowl as well. Now open the can of olives and drain them. Dice into small pieces and add to the bowl. Add the 3/4 cup of raisins to the bowl. Open the bags of bread crumbs and pour into the bowl with vegetables. Melt the sick of butter in a small pot and then add to the mixing bowl. Crack 2 eggs into the bowl. Add in the soup. Then season with garlic salt and black pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients together. The mixture will be dry.
In a 1/2 cup amounts add in water. Mix between each 1/2 cup until the entire mixture is moist. Too much water will make the stuffing soggy.
Oil the sides and bottom of a large baking dish. Spoon the stuffing mixture into the dish and cover with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Or You can stuff a turkey or chicken with the stuffing and bake the bird at specified instructions. The stuffing will cook in the bird.
