1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cloves
½ tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 ½ c. four
Split blanched almonds for top

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter, sugar, and molasses in a saucepan and heat. When all is melted, remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well and refrigerate for a least one week before baking to improve the flavor.

Preheat over to 375º.

Roll dough very thin and cut with various shaped cookie cutters. Top each with split, blanched almonds and bake at 375º for about 4 minutes.
