Directions:
Directions:
Heating to boiling point:
1 stick oleo
1 cup milk
¾ cup sugar

Then add:
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup cold water

When lukewarm add:
2 packages yeast in ½ cup of lukewarm water

Add:
7 ½ cups flour - let rise
Roll out, cut, let rise and fry

Glaze:
1 box powdered sugar
½ cup boiling water
2 Tbsp oleo

When I asked for recipes, his response was "I'll always remember when growing up and we heard Mom was going to make homemade donuts for us when we woke up. It was usually a race to get up and get downstairs to start eating fresh, hot, dripping icing homemade donuts."
