3 eggs (well beaten)
1 C. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla

1 C. butter (I use shortening)
1 C. brown sugar
1 C. white sugar
2 ½ C. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 C. oatmeal
½ C. chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:

Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla. Let stand for 1 hour.

Thoroughly cream together the butter, (shortening), and sugars. Sift flour, salt, soda and cinnamon into sugar mixture. Mix well. Blend in eggs, raisins, oatmeal and walnuts or pecans. Drop on cookie sheet with cookie scoop. Bake at 350º for 9-10 mins. or until lightly browned. Do not over bake.

** If these are sticky and do not roll nicely into balls, refrigerate for an hour or more.

*** High altitude add 2 T. flour and bake at 375º
