Gram’s Chili with Hambone

This is a "no recipe" recipe. Just add as much of each ingredient as you want.

Leftover Ham with Bone
Onion
Olive Oil
Chili Powder
Cumin
Chipotle Chili in Adobo
Tomato Sauce or Tomato Paste
Ro-Tel Tomatoes
Canned Chili Beans
Chicken Broth
Grated Jack or Cheddar Cheese
Sour Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Slice as much meat as you can from hambone and set aside.
Dice onion and sauté in a Dutch oven with olive oil.
Add chili powder and cumin and toast slightly.
Add hambone, chipotle, tomato sauce, Ro-tel tomatoes, and broth.
Simmer for an hour or more.
Remove hambone and remove any remaining meat.
Add all of the ham and simmer a bit longer.
Add beans and simmer until warm.
Garnish with cheese and sour cream

We always thought that this was fully homemade until someone caught Gram opening cans of chili etc. and dumping it in a pot.
