1/2 Cup Butter
5 Cups Bread Crumbs (Hint - I freeze the heels of loafs of bread, and grate these with a cheese grater)
1/2 Cup Yellow Onion diced
1/4 Mt. Scio Summer Savory (you can add more or less)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a small sauce pan on low heat.
Add onion
Cook until onions are transparent.
Put breadcrumbs in large bowl.
Add summer savory to breadcrumbs and mix well.
Pour butter and onion over breadcrumbs, mix well.
Add salt and pepper to taste.

Use along side any dish or with french fries and gravy for a Newfoundland classic, fries, dressing and gravy.
