1 c fresh strawberries, sliced
1 c sugar, divided
2 eggs
1/2 c melted butter
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350. Toss berries with 1/2 cup sugar, set aside. Beat eggs, remaining sugar, and melted butter. Add dry ingredients and mix just until smooth. Stir in berries. Pour into greased loaf pan or into 12 muffin cups. Bake 45-50 minutes for loaf or 20-25 minutes for muffins. Cool before slicing.
