1 lb smoked Polish sausage-sliced in
3 medium potatoes- peeled and cubed
1 inch pieces
2 medium onions- chopped
2 carrots, sliced
3 cans chicken broth
1 - 32 oz or 1 qt sauerkraut
1 - 6 oz tomato paste

In a large pot, lightly brown the sausage. Add potatoes, onions, carrots, and broth. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add 'kraut and tomato paste, mix well. Simmer 20 minutes longer.

Since we all LOVE sauerkraut, this a favorite of ours. Depending on your personal taste, you may omit the tomato paste. We like it either way.
