4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 sticks butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking soda, and baking powder together.
Add the remaining ingredients into another bowl; mix well.
Place the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients; combine to just blend. Do not over mix. The dough should be soft.
Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface until ~1/4 inch thick.
Cut the dough into any desired shapes; bake the shapes on a slightly greased sheet pan for 10 to 12 minutes.
