1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup oatmeal

For the Icing:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 - 3 tsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar together, then stir in the eggs one at a time.
Stir in the vanilla.
Combine the dry ingredients, then add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 9 - 10 minutes.

For the Icing:
Combine all ingredients to make a glaze.
Pour into a Ziploc bag and cut one corner out, then drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies.
