2 1/3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Beat butter for 30 seconds. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg, lemon peel and lemon juice and beat well. Add dry ingredients to mixture, beating well until blended. Stir in nuts. Shape dough into 2 (7 inch) rolls. Wrap in wax paper and chill thoroughly. Cut into 1/8 inch slices and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 6-8 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar.
