Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Frozen (thawed) or homemade bread dough
Chicken (we use chicken breasts)
Potatoes
Onions
Salt and pepper

Gravy:

Cream of chicken soup
Milk or cream
Chicken bouillon (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
If you're using frozen bread dough, allow to thaw before shaping and rolling into dumplings. Then allow dumplings to rise.

Brown chicken in oil in a large (electric) frying pan. Remove.

Cut potatoes into cubes and slice onions and place in pan. Season with salt and pepper.
Fry potatoes and onions in frying pan with oil. After frying, add chicken back on top.

Add water to the bottom of the pan. After water comes to a boil, add dumplings on top of chicken and potatoes and cover tightly with a lid. Make sure that if there's a steam vent on the lid, to close it. DO NOT open the lid until dumplings are cooked through - about 25 minutes or so.

To make the gravy, pour a can of cream of chicken soup (or more cans depending on amount needed) into a saucepan. Fill can(s) with milk or cream and pour into saucepan and stir until combined. You may add some chicken bouillon for a stronger chicken flavor.
