Ingredients:
Ingredients:
fresh blueberries
1/2 oz cream cheese, softened
plain bagel half
brown sugar
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat broiler to High.
Very lightly toast bagel in a toaster.
Use a fork to smash several blueberries into about 1/2 ounce of cream cheese - or the amount that you would normally spread on half of a bagel.
When the cream cheese is bluish and the berries are smashed up, stir in a bit of white sugar to taste.
Spread the cream cheese over the bagel half, not too thinly.
Place additional blueberries over the cream cheese, pressing so they don't roll off.
Sprinkle with a little bit of brown sugar.
Place on a baking sheet and set under the broiler - not too close - until the brown sugar is melted, the berries are bursting, and the cream cheese is beginning to brown.
Keep a very close eye on it, as it can burn quickly.
