1 Pie crust recipe (see JR's pie crust recipe)
2 cups seedless raisins
2 cups boiling water
1 cup sugar
4 Tbs. flour
1 Tbs. lemon juice
3 Tbs. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Make 1 crust. Roll out and place in pie crust plate.

In a saucepan, cook raisins in boiling water until tender.

Stir in 1 cup sugar to taste and 4 Tbs. flour. Cook over low heat until it gets thick.

Add 1 Tbs. lemon juice and 3 Tbs. butter. Still well. Let cool. Add to crust in pie plate. Put butter on top generously. Then add top crust and make slits in crust to let steam come out. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 35 minutes until golden brown.

(NOTE: If you make these pies ahead of time and freeze them, then bake frozen pie at 375 degrees for about an hour, until golden brown. )
