1 Cup Cornmeal
1 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
3 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Oil
2 Eggs
3 Tbsp. Melted Butter
2 Tbsp. Honey

Preheat Oven 350º

Mix dry ingredients.
In another larger bowl mix other ingredients, then mix in the dry ones
Pour batter into the pan of your choice.
Bake for 25-30 Minutes or until fork comes out clean.
Serve warm or cold. Very good the next day

You can adjust the honey depending on how sweet you like it. I used maple syrup the other day and it worked just fine. This cornbread recipe is so easy and good, you can forget using a mix! It's moist and not too gritty or crumbly. I use a pie pan to make mine but I'm sure a loaf or square pan will work.
