CREAM TOGETHER:
1 1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C Shortening

ADD:
2 Eggs
3/4 C sour milk*
1 C Mashed bananas (mix with 1 tsp lemon juice)
2 C Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

Once all ingredients are added, use mixer for 2 minutes.


*How to make sour milk:
Almost fill a 3/4 cup with milk
Add a little vinegar to the milk (approx 1 tsp)
Let sit on the counter for approx 5 minutes

FROSTING:
3 C Powdered Sugar
1 Stick of Butter (softened)
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 C Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Use a greased 13"x9" pan and bake @ 350º for 30-40 minutes.
Once cool, top with frosting.
