2 C sugar
2 C flour
½ C buttermilk or (½ Tbsp apple cider vinegar in ½ C regular milk)
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
½ tsp soda
1 C Butter
5 Tbsp cocoa
1 C water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugar and flour in bowl. Set aside. Combine butter, cocoa, and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour hot mixture into sugar/flour mixture. Mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, and vanilla. Mix again. Pour into a greased
11”x17” pan. Bake for 20 minutes and frost with chocolate frosting.
 

Chocolate Frosting

1 C butter
4 Tbsp cocoa
⅓ C evaporated milk
1 pound powdered sugar

Directions:

Combine butter, cocoa, and milk in a saucepan and bring to boil. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar and use a hand mixer to mix well. Spread on hot cake.

This is one of Cooper's favorite foods ever!!! Whenever I ask what I should bake, this is what he suggests. He will eat for dessert, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hard to know what category to put it in.
