4½ c. flour
½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1⅔ c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients and mix well.
2. Roll out ¼ inch thick on a lightly floured board.
3. Cut desired shapes.
4. Sprinkle with sugar (omit if you are going to frost the cookies)
5. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet
6. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.
