4 medium Cucumbers, sliced and peeled
1 tbsp Salt
¾ cup Sugar
½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 medium Onion, sliced
1 cup Water
Black Pepper, to taste (optional)
Dill Weed, to taste (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Slice the cucumbers and sprinkle salt over them. Place a heavy item on top (such as a plate) and let sit several hours, or overnight. Pour off water. Boil water and sugar. Add vinegar and let it cool. Pour over the cucumbers. Add onions, pepper, and dill weed. Chill.
