2 cups strawberries (1 quart), stemmed and chopped or crushed
4 cups sugar
¾ cup water
1 package sure-jell fruit pectin

Be sure to have grandchildren available to do all the following:
Enlist the help of grandchildren to go to Annie's Acres's to pick fresh strawberries.
Have the grandchildren wash the berries and remove the stems.
Have the grandchildren wash jars and lids, approximately 6 jars. depending on size.

In a large bowl mix 2 cups fruit with the sugar and stir thoroughly until mixed well. Let stand 10 minutes.
Mix water and pectin in small saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. boil and stir for 1 minute.
Pour over fruit mixture. stir at least 3 minutes or until sugar dissolved.
Fill containers to ½ inch from the top. Cover immediately with lids. Wipe jars and let stand for 24 hours. Store in freezer.
