• 2 ½ cups flour
• 1½ teaspoons baking powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ¼ cup chopped maraschino cherries
• 1- 1oz pre melted unsweetened chocolate
"• ? cup pecans, chopped"
• 1 cup butter
• 1½ cups sugar
• 1egg
• 1teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

"In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except food coloring, cherries, pecans, and chocolate."

Mix on low until dough forms.

Divide into 3 portions.

"Into first portion, add red food coloring and cherries."

Into the second portion add chocolate.

Into the third portion add green food coloring and pecans.

Line a loaf pan with waxed paper.

Place dough in the pan in layers.

"Cover, chill for several hours or overnight."

Remove from pan and waxed paper.

Cut in half lengthwise.

"Slice in ¼ inch slices, and bake on an ungreased sheet for 8-10 minutes in a 400 degree oven."
