1 whole cut up chicken
flour (to coat chicken)
1 minced onion
1 cup chopped celery
¼ cup chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
pepper to taste

Add chopped broccoli or other vegetables if desired.

Preheat oven to 350°. Place flour in a shallow dish. Remove skin from chicken. Roll chicken in flour until it is coated on all sides. Shake off excess flour. Sauté in large skillet until brown. Combine all other ingredients and pour over chicken. Bake for 1 hour. Occasionally baste the chicken with the liquid while baking.
