Ingredients:
2 packages yeast
½ cup warm water
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 cups warm water
2 lightly beaten eggs
2 Tablespoons shortening
2 teaspoons salt
½ cup sugar
6-7 cups flour
1 stick melted butter
white sugar
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar. Let set to rise.
In a large bowl mix water, eggs, shortening, salt and sugar. Add yeast mixture and mix well. Add 2 cups of flour and mix well. Continue to add 1 cup of flour at a time and mix well after each cup, until the dough is smooth and no longer sticky. Grease the top of the dough. Cover and let rise until double in bulk. Knead down and let rise again. Divide dough into half.
Take half and roll into rectangle about ¾ inch thick. Cover dough with melted butter. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon generously on top. Roll the dough into log being careful not to roll to tight so filling does not come out. Slice into 1 inch rolls. Put into greased pans and let rise until double. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes. Frost with powdered sugar frosting if desired.
Repeat with the other half of the dough. Or I take the other half and cut the dough into about 2 inch pieces, roll into balls and place in greased pan for buns.
