1 to 2 heads cabbage, shredded
2 green peppers, chopped
1 can water chestnuts
2 onions, chopped

1 tsp. celery seed
1 c. white sugar
½ c. vegetable oil
1 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In medium-sized pan, combine sugar with oil, vinegar, salt and celery seed. Bring to boil for 2 min. Let mixture cool and add black pepper.

Shred the cabbage, and dice the onions and green peppers; combine in large bowl. Pour the vinegar solution over the top of the vegetables and stir. Refrigerate.
