2 cups bread flour
1 tea white sugar
1 level tea of baking soda
1 heaping tea of baking powder
2 tea shortening
1 tea salt
1 1/2 cups buttermilk or sour milk

Directions:
mix together dry ingredients
rub shortening into flour mixture
add buttermilk and blend well
cook in electric frying pan at 360F for 12-15 minutes on each side
