1/2 cup butter
5/8 cup of sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1/2 tea vanilla
1/2 tea almond extract
1/2 tea lemon extract
2 TBSP milk
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tea baking powder
1/4 tea salt
2 tea lemon juice
1/4 cup almonds
3/4 cup maraschino cherries halved

Directions:
Directions:
cream butter with electric mixer until fluffy
add sugar and continue beating until mixture becomes creamy
add eggs
mix in flavorings and milk
sift flour baking powder and salt together and add to above mixture
add almonds and cherries fold in until well combined
add lemon juice and stir in
pour in greased 9 inch pan
bake 325F for 1 hour
