BBQ Water Chestnuts Recipe

2 (8 oz.) cans water chestnuts, whole, drained
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oscar Meyer bacon
1 small bottle ketchup
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. brown sugar, packed
toothpicks, preferably round wooden

Directions:
Directions:
Cut bacon slices into thirds. Wrap around chestnut and pierce with toothpick to secure. Spray jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides) with Pam. Bake 20 minutes @ 350º . While this is cooking, mix sauce. After 20 minutes, spoon sauce over nuts. Bake an additional 30 minutes. Serve warm. If serving later, place in oblong slow cooker on medium-low heat setting or in a Pyrex heated travel pack. Excellent and so easy!
