1 - 2 lb package frozen cubed hash browns
1/4 c butter, melted
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
2 T chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1 pint sour cream
2 c grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 c butter, melted
2 c crushed corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1/4 c butter, salt, pepper, onion. soup and cheese in large bowl, mix well. Stir in hash browns. Place mixture in 9x13 pan.

Combine corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter until corn flakes are all coated. Sprinkle over casserole.

Bake, uncovered, at 350º for 1 hour.

I usually use cream of mushroom soup and real butter and sour cream (not light). And I am generous on my corn flake measurement. We have this a lot when we are grilling out for a group.
