Directions: |
Directions:1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk. 2. Sift together flour, salt and sugar. 3. Add butter/margarine. Mix together with a fork or pastry cutter, similar as making a pie crust. 4. Add beaten eggs and sour cream to dough. 5. Add yeast and blend well. 6. Divide dough into 4 parts. Set on an oil lined sheet pan and let rise 30 minutes. 7. Roll each part into a rectangle, approximately the size of a sheet pan. The dough should not be too thin that the dough breaks when rolled. 8. Spread the rolled out dough with filling; roll and place on a greased sheet pan. Do not let the rolled log touch another log. 9. Allow to rise for one hour or until double in bulk. 10. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. |
