2 C brown sugar

1 C melted lard

2 C oatmeal

½ pound raisins

1 teas salt

1 heaping T cinnamon

1 even T soda (dissolve in water)

3 eggs

½ C nutmeats

2 ¼ C flour - enough to make stiff

Mix well.

Drop in a pan by spoon

Bake at 375º for 15 minutes.
