3 Tbs paprika (Spanish/sweet)
2 Tbs minced garlic
2 Tbs Cumin/Thyme/Herbs de Provence/Jerk seasoning (whatever spice you have or prefer)
3 Tbs Hot sauce
3 Tbs Cold water & make a paste with spices
2 Tsp Onion powder (or 1-2 Tbsp based on preference)
1 Tsp Cumin
Brisket Meat
1 Packet of onion soup mix
Gloves for rub application

Directions:
Directions:
(1) Take fat off brisket & Prepare the rub paste
(2) Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F
(3) Apply the rub on the brisket using gloves
(4) Heat about 4 C. water with onion soup mix for about 8 lb of brisket. Line pyrex with foil and pour some in pyrex. Then add the brisket and pour the rest of the onion soup mix over it.
(5) Heat the brisket in oven for 1 hour, uncovered
(6) Reduce heat to 275. Cook brisket covered for 20 min/lb & add more water if needed at this point)
(7) Check with a knife when done. Cool brisket before cutting.
