¾ c. (1½ sticks) butter, softened
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
⅓ c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder or soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. + 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
1 c. raising (coated in flour)
2 c. oatmeal

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add milk, baking powder/soda, cinnamon, salt, vanilla, and flour. Stir in by hand the raisins and oatmeal.

Refrigerate for 2 hrs. or overnight.

Bake at 375 for 15 to 20 min. on greased cookie sheet.
