3/4 C. Shortening (half shortening/half margarine)
1 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
2 1/2 C Flour
1tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
2 Sq.Unsweetened Chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla thoroughly. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Blend everything together except the chocolate.
Divide dough In half. Melt and cool the unsweetened chocolate. Mix the melted chocolate into one half of the dough. Chill. Roll remaining dough into 12 x 9 oblong. Roll chocolate dough same size. Lay on top of white layer. Roll together until 3/16" thick. Then roll up tightly, beginning at wide size. Chill again. Heat oven 400 degree cut slices 1/8" thick place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
