2 ¾ c flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 c butter softened
1½ c white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven 375º
In a small bowl, stir together flour, soda, baking powder and set aside
In a lg bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth beat I eggs and vanilla, gradually blend in dry ingredients. Roll rounded tsp of dough into balls and place onto ungreased cookie sheets
Bake 8-10 min in preheated oven, or until golden let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks
