4 cups peeled, sliced peaches
½ cup butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
1 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Place peaches in a lightly greased 12x8x2" baking dish. Set aside. Cream butter & slowly add ¾ cup sugar & beat well. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder & salt. Add to creamed butter mixture & mix well. Stir in milk & vanilla. Pour batter over peaches. Combine ¾ cup sugar & cornstarch, stir in water. Pour over batter & bake at 375º for 45 to 50 minutes.
