2/3 c. oil or melted butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. molasses
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (1/4 if using salted butter)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger

1/4 c. coarse sugar for rolling in

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Mix butter or oil with sugar, add egg. Stir in molasses.
Add in dry ingredients.
Mix until combined.

Roll dough into balls and roll balls thru coarse sugar.

Bake for 9-11 minutes.
Do not over bake.
