3/4 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Mx above ingredients all together well. Chill in refrigerator for an hour.
Roll dough in 1 inch balls. Place on a greased cookie sheet or parchment paper. Take sugar and put in a small bowl. Take a glass and turn upside down and dip bottom of glass in sugar and smash each ball down on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool on sheet for a few minutes, remove cookies to cooling rack.
